Signing in at #4 is tournament newbies, The Runs. Up till now, being a new entry in the Spring 2104 Mill Creek Park Wiffleball Tournament brought with it a lost of unknown factors. Those unknowns ultimately have lead to a lower ranking, as seen with the bottom 3 ranked teams. Turtleheads, Pulp Fiction and The Man Hammers are all first time participants in the tournaments and at this point leave a lot to the imagination. The Runs, however, bring something else to the table. While, not much is known about newcomer, Terry Pfeifer, its the second half of The Runs, Scott Mesloh, that earns this side the #4 ranking.
Scott is a long time wiffleballer with a serious background in the game. A featured participant in the old 'The Dew' wiffleball tournaments as well as a regular competitor in several more serious wiffleball events such as Wifflemania and Wifflefest. Mesloh is a terrific all-around player. Not know for his power, but more for his consistency and patience at the plate. A walk is always as good as a hit in his mind and he routinely takes his at-bats deep into the count. He'll single and walk you to death all the time luring you in until he finally unleashes a long ball. He pitching is solid and his defense is top notch as well. There really is no weakness to his game and with even just a little help from Terry, he should lead The Runs right into a play-off position.

*The Spring 2012 Mill Creek Park Wiffleball Tournament takes place on Saturday April 26th with first pitches at 9am. The event will run all day until the champion is crowned.*
