Showing up at #2 in out pre-tournament rankings is The Dewskis. The Dewskis are a family alliance comprised of cousins, Joe Gill and Sean McNamara. The pair share a long history and love for the game of wiffleball, going back to childhood days of one on one backyard contests that featured an intense rivalry between the two. That same rivalry has continued through the years with epic battles in FIFA, NCAA Football, Madden, and even previous wiffleball tournaments. The Fall 2013 Mill Creek Park Tournament will mark the first time in history that they will join forces to compete as one. Joe Gill joined the SWBL for the 2013 season and took part in paltry 6 games, finishing with a 3-3 record. While the record is not that impressive, his stats do require mentioning. Eight home runs, 15 RBI and 8 strikeouts in just 6 games. Granted its just a small sample but impressive nonetheless. His teammate, Sean McNamara, is coming off 2 incredible seasons in the SWBL that also include an MVP year in 2013. An impressive 34 win, 8 loss record over those two years shows that he knows how to win. While Sean is the SWBL's career leader in all 3 stat categories, it may be his performance on the mound that sticks out the most. In just 2013 alone McNamara put up 42 K's, more than any other players 2012 and 13 combined. It is also worthy to mention that Joe and Sean paired up for 2 games in the 2013 season going 2-0 with 9 runs for and just 2 against. Expect them to be a major force come the 3rd.
