Exploding on to the scene as the final entry in the 2014 Spring Wiffleball Tournament are, Scott Mesloh, a former participant in the classic 'The Dew' wiffleball tournaments, and Terry Pfeifer, a complete unknown to our wiffleball circle. The duo have joined forces to make up The Runs. While neither player has logged any time playing at Mill Creek Park before we can still expect a solid performance from Mesloh. Scott is a patient hitter and precise pitcher with excellent defensive capabilities. So while we know nothing about his teammate Terry, just knowing what Scott brings to the table is enough to consider this side a threat.
In other news, Pulp Fiction has lost the services of Carl Parker. Carl informed us today that something unavoidable has come up and he will not be able to attend this springs festivities. While Carl will certainly be missed, we do expect to have a fill-in lined up sometime tomorrow to take his place alongside Matt Byrnes.
Once that is settled, we do expect to hold the team placement draft early next week. Additionally, in the days leading up to tournament day we will release the pre-tournament rankings. Just 16 days remain until game day!!
