With just 22 days remaining until the Spring 2014 Mill Creek Park Wiffleball Tournament takes place, a seventh team has been added to the field. Another pair of new comers, Greg Crysler and Tim Connors team up to form The Turtleheads. While neither player has seen any game action at Mill Creek Park, both bring with them some serious potential. Tim is currently the varsity soccer coach at Sparta High School as well as a former Division 1 soccer star for St. Peter's College. Greg, also a former soccer player, can definitely hit the long ball, having demonstrated that at an informal batting practice in late 2013.
Thats 7 teams locked in for this springs event. There is already an 8th team all signed up, with just the team name and logo still pending. Everything is falling nicely into place and I expect this will be an excellent event. Keep posted as we announce the 8th team and draw the table positions within the coming weeks.
