The Spring 2014 Mill Creek Park Wiffleball Tournament reached its minimum team requirement this past week with the addition of a 5th squad. After the initial announcement of teams for the Spring bash, Carl Parker had been the odd man out following the news that his Fall 2013 Bald by Choice teammate, Bill Houston, could not attend this go around. Carl wasted no time though, picking up fellow SWBL player, Matt Byrnes. This will be Matt's first appearance in a Mill Creek Park Tournament. The pair will team up to form Pulp Fiction.
With less than a month remaining for registration, it is good to know we have already reached the same number of teams as in our first tourney. We look to continue our drive to an 8 team field in the coming weeks. It looks promising with several other players having expressed serious interest. We are also still awaiting the submission of a team name and logo for the Joe Reed/Steve Casavant team. We will keep you all posted as things continue to come together.
