Four Teams Already In The Mix

With a month to go before the entry due date of April 13th, 4 squads have already confirmed their participation in the spring outing.  The Mill Creek Park Wiffleball Tournament is proud to welcome back 3 of the original 5 teams this spring.  As previously confirmed, both Sean McNamara and Joe Gill (The Dewskis) will return to defend their Fall 2013 title.

 They will be joined by Sam DeMarco and Steve Bottieri (The Murray Men) and Fabio Nieto and Arvind Patel (Benchwarmers).  The Murray Men finished up their Fall 2013 run with a semi-final loss, coming up 1 run shy of the title game.  Benchwarmers also departed the Fall 2013 Tournament in the semi-final round, falling to the eventual champions, The Dewskis.

While 2 of the original 5 teams will not return to take part in the Spring 2014 edition, 2 players from those teams will, only with different teammates.  With slugger Rob Cooper unable to attend, Fall 2013 runners-up

The Sharknados will not be able to avenge their finals loss in this go around. Steve Casavant returns to the fold though, with new teammate Joe Reed.  The freshly assembled pair has yet to announce a team name but we will keep on the lookout for when they do.  Carl Parker will reprise his role this spring as the underdog fan-favorite, however, he will have to do so without the likes of Bill Houston, his Fall 2013 Bald By Choice partner.  Currently, Carl is still assessing his teammate options for the Spring 2014 games.
