At a press conference held today in Parsippany, tournament founders and teammates, Joe Gill and Sean McNamara officially announced their team name for the upcoming, November 3rd, Mill Creek Park Wiffleball Tournament. The pair, teaming up for the first time in tournament play after several years as rivals in the mid 2000's, have selected the moniker, 'The Dewskis'. An homage to the former wiffleball field, 'The Dew', which they built and shared in the backyard of a Cedar Knolls home back in 2005 through 2007. The duo also debuted the official team logo for The Dewskis, pictured above. "We are hoping that the announcement today will inspire the other teams to come up with their own team names and maybe even logos for the upcoming tournament. We just think it will add that extra element of authenticity to the event and create some additional excitement leading up to the games", said McNamara.
